battery charging

battery charging

Today after another D3 cold start with several failure messages i was wondering if the battery would take longer to recharge if I switch on headlights or heated seats or if the generater could compensate for a higher demand.
My scangauge tells me the recharging voltage stays at 15.2V no matter how many gadgets I switch on.
Thanks for any ideas.
