battery Disconnect??

battery Disconnect??

Looking to wire in my National luma power pack so was going to remove the battery to see if i could find somewhere to feed the cables through the bulkhead??
if i disconnect the battery will i have problems when i connect it up??
And where on a 08.5 manualMY can i feed heavy cables through to the rear??

No you shouldn't if you let the car " go to sleep" first.Bonnet up , remove key,close all doors and wait until the (P) light has extinguished , then disconnect.

Rescue1, you could try the same route as the Traxide kit.

Goes internally through the bulkhead and then along the plastic trim at the step (there's a channel to fit a twin cable in) and up to the back. Dead easy once you've done it once.

Bodsy - note the small print in the post from Rescue1 - he has a proper D3 without a slushbox, so he has same problem as me with clutch pipe in the grommit traxide kit says to use.

I sent him a PM last night giving away the stonecutters special secrets of where to stick a cable on a manual...
