Battery Volts

Hi All
Just charged my battery with my charger overnight. What should the volts be reading on my dash with the IIDTool connected. Mine is showing 12.5 volts ?

12.5 sounds fine to me, mine usually reads about 12.2 ish on the IID and drops when checking or clearing faults etc.

Best way though is to check directly at the battery with a good multi-meter.
A fully charged battery should be 12.6 volts.

Best to leave it for 12 hours after charging so the surface charge dissipates, that’ll give a true reading. And a £5 multimeter straight off the terminals is what I use. Thumbs Up
