BBS & BAS D3 & D4 Mapping capability news
As many of you may know, BBS and BAS, (Pete Bell) both well known for our work in our respective but slightly different areas of expertise, have agreed to join forces and share our collective knowledge and understanding at the very lowest level.
This collaboration has already provided massive benefits and advancements to us both and now that we at BBS have concluded with the exhaustive task of providing Full vehicle flashing capabilities, which had bogged us down quite some, we are at a stage where we can now apply ourselves far more greatly to making the most of the BBS / BAS partnering.
This starting of course with us implementing the ability for our own MSV-2 system owners to purchase performance or economy maps from us that BAS will provide, which is now only but a week or 2 away from main stream introduction and has been mentioned before.
However this is but the start, because quite rapidly there will be another interesting development that will also be reaching conclusion we have decided to announce.
BBS is going to supply BAS with a specially tailored variation of our well known and respected Nano and Extreme vehicle servers. Badged under his own name, and supplied exclusively by him, these will be pre configured in such a way that they will provide his customers with all the requisite ability required for the writing of standard Engine Management maps as well as his specially modified ones either with a PC attached or in stand alone mode.
However, unlike no other solution before it, This new unit will uniquely also be capable of programming all 2010 and on Models, including of course the Discovery 4's.
By our joint collaborative venture therefore, it will then not only be possible to purchase a tuning box from BAS that will allow the performance enhancing of all LR vehicles, but that box can be later also be upgraded to the full diagnostic capability if desired.

Should I now wait with my order of HW017+SM129 for the 2 weeks or I can have the current version delivered and it will be a matter of remote firmware/setup update on the HW017 to be able to flash economy/power map from Pete?2013 D4 TDV6 S; Baltic Blue; IID Tool BT

All future upgrades for our system are freely available for download and retro installation by owners of our system from our web sites support area.
So when this is released, it also will be placed there.

Hi evo8,
As Colin said you can order now HW017 MSV2 Extreme & SM129 D3 Multiple Vehicle Software and when any updates relevet to your SM129 are ready for download on the BlackBox forum you can update your MSV2 to suite.
In the meantine you can be getting your self aquainted with the MSV2 software layout and its functions.
There is also the BBS web site support area and help forum which you will be able join along with the other BBS tool owners.
Its a very imformative forum with normally like minded members sharing diagnostic info faults and advise with each other.
regards Pete

wiggs, with all that extra power, you won't have to worry about the epb binding anymore Dr. Ian Malcolm:
