Just the quick thanks to Pete at BAS for great service. Very very happy with remap and the result much better than I expected.

Excellent news. Obviously I don't want to blow my MPG out of the water but am after the performance improvement more than anything (without winding the engine so high it goes pop of course). I've seen posts suggesting a remapped 2.7 is pretty much pushing out the same as the stock 3.0, would you say this is a fair expectation from the re-map....? Guess I'm just after an idea of how much more it'll give?
Cheers,
James. Errr, ummm, maybe...oh bo**ocks, just do it !

Apologies,
visit here infrequently and was about to purchase a Tune-it plug in "remap" device this week.
Now having seen second thought having seen all the favourable replies for the BAS re-map.
Probably know the answer to this, but, is there any advantage to re-map over plug in interupter device?
Has anyone had any engine issues with either (re-map or interupt device) - I have a 13000 mile 57 plate D3 that is going to be kept for a long time and want it to remain reliable.
