I'd say the target should be 8% and March

NFU was 5% - has it changed?! I got 13% off a new D4 (2012) end of last year. PM me if you want details of who to speak to.

Got 8% off D4 Commercial, ordered Nov 2011 delivered April 2012. Discount was thru an Agricultural buying group we belong to (£100 levy). Discount also applied to all extras/options. If you've got the full NFU m/ship you can throw the 5% discount in after you've managed any other haggling as far as I'm aware. We don't have any land but are a bona fide agricultural business and have also bought a Defender using the NFU scheme. No issues or questions re land ownership.11 RR 4.4 TDV8

You may well be right, but a quick call to say we're taking our £12k premium elsewhere may well sort it..... 11 RR 4.4 TDV8

Slight diversion but if 8% is what you should be aiming to achieve on a new D4, what should be achievable on an LR approved used car, say 18-24 months old with a sticker price in the 29-33K range.

My experience on second hand from a LR dealer was that they would barely move on price, but were quite willing to throw in a 2 years manufacturers equivalent warranty.D4 HSE, Active Rear Diff, surround cameras, adaptive xenons, heated steering wheel, TPMS, remote park heating, centre console cooler box

........and I was moaning that NFU membership had gone up to £255 ?!!
....... think it's only 3% on a commercial, 4% XS and 5% on HSE ?

I got 7% discount from dealer plus 5% NFU (genuine farmer members for the last 50 odd years) on a new HSE last month.
Only thing was how fair the part-ex on my 3 year old XS was? It matched the part ex value on the Honest John website but they now have it on their website for £5k more than they gave me for it. It was due a service and had no tax on it and the paintwork needed some work (a lot of small stratching) but this seems quite a mark up?2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony
