Plenty of incidents referring to Wartsila engines and broken crankshafts!. They do seem somewhat easier to replace though.

My last Nokia’s were 6310is, incl the one SWMBO dropped in a cup of tea coz I didn’t want to risk drowning it on a field trip. Good phones in their day, esp once I worked out the correct packing arrangement to keep the battery in proper contact with the body of the phone. Whistle

The last but one 6310 I had fell out of my pocket and dropped 35m off a mast into an adjacent field despite searching for it couldn't find amongst the crop, 3 or 4 years later we happened to be working on the same mast and the field was being ploughed and the phone appeared on top of the furrow, took it home and dried it out, charged it up and it worked. I'm sure they were designed to be bomb proof
