BFG 265/70/17 AT'S
Sorta thinking about using the above as a general tyre Plenty of our L200's use them
I'm aware they may rub in extreme off road situations (gonna be rare as I'd change to MTR's prior)
Or I'll import some 245/70/17'MTs just caus I can
Thoughts please

Hi Ken,
I run these tyres.
As you say, they do (slightly) rub in extreme situations ( I have coils) but not enough to be an issue.
Now that I have raised springs, I can't see it being a problem at all.
(BTW: the spare won't fit, unless deflated.)
Best Wishes,
Peter

only rubif you manage to bottom it out in normal height.I use the same size but a different brand.Theyre the best looking & performing on a D3 IMHO.Go for it.

I like the wider look!
Going from my wide Stormers to 17's/STT's, to me my D3 looked very odd.
So I sold them.
I'm in the market again for Off Road wheels/tyres, so might just contemplate these again ..
with spacers!!
But how does it look from the front with spacers, not too spidery I hope ... pic please?...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Spacers DONT work
They rub in all levels on the front chassis leg on full lock
Albeit it was a 30mm space might try a 25mm on Monday if I get time just to see
These are wide any way STT's are 245/70/17 these are 265/70/17

spacers won't work 'cos the rolling diameter is increased, spacers only compensate for changes in the offset - like snowchains
