Hi
Why do some cars i have seen in the press have a great big bulbus antena on the roof mine doesnt and its a HSE with all the toys except the phone which is a saw point as I was promised by the sales manager that it could be retro fitted.
has anyone else got one

From info on US forums, the large roof mount houses the phone aerial & poss amp. It is on the 2006 RR as well. The dealer fit issue is a majotr one that many owners seem to feel has been mis-represented to them & the dealers certainly seem to be in the dark - indeed LR Customer Services don't seem to know and just today have confirmed by e-mail to me that they are trying toget info!!! Technically speaking the Alpine head unit, Nokia phone system & the MOST Bus are capable of working - any unavailability is down to a LR decision to not implement the system for its customers!!! - which is dire on a £40k + car.
