Pretty quick job, rear left light off, find grommit that's empty and marked in ikea like instructions, remove, fit top part of loom, spend 20 minutes trying to work out where the hell the loom goes over the wobble weight under the bumper (while painting wrist black with soot from exhaust), run cable, screw socket into place, plug in to car (removing blanks), mount fusebox, job done
It took me about 2 hours, I spent half of that trying to work out where it meant to put the loom under the rear bumper and having a cup of tea...

Hi TallPaul,
Did you have to remove the bumper?
if so was it easy - are there instructions anywhere?

Bumper removal NOT required. Once you have the loom fit the sockets as per instructions. Then lie underneath the D3 and you will need to clip the loom into the holes in the rear chassis (there for this purpose), the loom as fixed push clips already fitted at proper intervals to meet the chassis holes.
The hardest part is passing the loom behind the Harmonic Dampnes (swinging Weights) on the rear of the chassis, and passing the loom upwards into the gap where the rear N/S light was. Then pass the end of the loom throgh the grommit and connect to the cars loom in the cubby....Hey Presto, done
To add to the above, dangle a 6mm piece of rope, from the removed light space, this should then fall to the ground, behind bumper etc, (holding on to other end) tape loom to said rope, then retract, giving you the loom in the lightspace, without struggling your a e off!The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Oops! Just read the full thread, having posted response/questions. Adam did buy one and seems quite happy with it. Sorry.
Unable to see gallery photos but I am a couple of years too late!! I'll do a bit more surfing and probably go for it.
