What a nuisance. Sad

I think you're probably right, a SMART repair company will hopefully pull/pop that out.

Woodford airfield had a bird scarer. It consisted of a fire truck with a strange sounding klaxon, which prior to an aircraft movement, would drive around the airfield making awful noises, and firing the occasional flare off.

Still had bird strikes mind.

So the D5 has ABS.... ๐Ÿ˜‚

Wouldn't happen in an XC60. Pigeon would have passed about 12" overhead Whistle
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Laughing too true. Thumbs Up

Had a couple of bird strikes in my D4, a few years back, about a week of each other.

I hit a better class of bird in my D4 ........ a buzzard [7 secs in].
It broke my light guard, but I was more peeved off at hitting such a beautiful bird!

Had a suicidal pheasant too...... bloody dimwits! [4 secs in]

...... always on the road less travelled ๐Ÿšง

My D4 was only two months old when it hit a woodie rising at the last minute as I rounded a bend in Fife. My thoughts were unprintable as I pulled into a lay-by just round the bend. It was a glancing blow just on the reinforced edge at the top of the windscreen. Lucky result. Pigeon seemed to have survived. First thought when it happened was what a great start to the new carโ€™s first long trip.
2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.
