What are these bits??
Whilst exploring my 2015 disco 4 HSE, I have found some bits that was not on my 2008 Disco 3, and would like to know what they do.
1/ There is a motorcycle sized battery, and another big article connected to it with heavy cables, in the compartment with the ABS and master cylinder, cars R/H side. What does it do or what is it for??
2/ There is a 25mm screw capped item on top of a pipe, cars R/H side about 250mm behind the o/s headlamp. looks a bit like a dipstick, which the car has not got. any ideas, please??
3/ There is a plastic fronted item cars L/H side, underneath, in front of the spare wheel. It seems to have plastic pipes and what looks like a Bowden cable connected. It is not the parking brake actuator.
It would satisfying to know what these items are for, your answers would be appreciated.
Regards, Barry C.
Also, am trying to remove the front grill, can get the top of it free, but cannot get the bottom free,I have not got too powerful pulling from various directions in case I break it because it feels like it is screwed down somewhere. Any comments please??

1 sounds like the stop/start battery. Pics would be very useful.

Thanks for the replies so far. Item 2 is not the air con, I feel that it is connected to the sump, or engine somewhere. Item 3, car does not have adblue system
When I work out how to upload pics, I will do so.
