Bitten the bullet - traded D3 SE for D4 XS |

After much gentle (although she says, not subtle) persuasion with SWMBO I have finally got the go ahead to swap my D3 for a D4
Managed to find a Director's car (just a ruse to turn stock around) from Strastone in Solihull - reg 23/12 last year, less than 5k miles, less than £40k. Silver again, SWMBO says "boring" but I say "doesn't show scratches" from off roading They've got 3 more if anyone else is thinking of taking the plunge
Noticed a massive increase in p/ex values between last November and now - up by £4.5K p/ex at 3 separate dealers due to lack of available stock. All good news. And this was with 65k miles, RAI attached, severely dented side tubes (aka rock sliders! ) and a few scratches. He says it'll def go on forecourt as they can't get enough of 'em.
I don't think spec is too much different between XS D4 and SE D3 and certainly not on those bits I use regularly - cooler box'll be missed and arm rests but otherwise pretty much same as my 2006MY D3. Really wanted HSE but ...... money's too tight to mention
Haven't got a delivery date yet but expect no more than 2 weeks can't wait for that extra bhp and torques MY2016 SDV6 Graphite in Fuji White....... as I like to see the mud and scratches 🤪
