Bi-Xenon on D4

Hi,
I have recently got my first D4 and I am unsure if the light setup is correct, so would appreciate some advice.

It is a 2012 HSE MY and has the bi-xenon lights (not adaptive).

When engine running this is the setup:
Position 1 - no lights
Position 2 - just Halo lights front, rear lights
Position 3 - the same with dip

Question is, as per my photo below, when do the sidelights come on? So far they don't. I wondered if they are cornering lights which I had on my D3's HSE (also adaptive). If they are cornering lights, they don't come on, so wonder if anything is setup incorrectly by dealer.

Appreciate some advice please.

Sounds like std behaviour to me - the arrow that you point to is the cornering lamps - if enabled / set up.

In the bi-xenon lights the side light is the fairy lights Thumbs Up

Thank you for you response. I will try it out again tonight and if they are not working will seek someone with a IID perhaps.

For the D4 (might be D3 too) for the cornering to come on you should have engine on, be in Drive and under certain speed with wheel turned at a minimum angle. You should be able to test this in your driveway facing uphill with handbrake on Laughing Thumbs Up

They look like chrome blank plugs tome rather than bulbs.

Bulb

There is a bulb in the sidelight which you can just about see in the photo. Only a trial will tell.
