Hi Stephan, well I will try to explain first I bring a computer image if a discovery on screen, next I apply various images to the on screen display ie flags or designs etc, when I was happy with the finished projection I then had to think how to apply to a vehicle.
The base colour of the design is white and with the car being black I had to cut out all the white background first, and I just carried on then with the blue and red to make up the final picture.
To sum up it's basically a massive vynil jigsaw ( std 7 year quality vinyl) puzzle each side consisted of 15 parts and I applied and trimmed to shape on the car, it took me about 3-4 hours to apply!!!
I hope I have explained ok.
I can supply this in kit form if anyone is interested but it does require a certain skill to apply the vinyl and trim into the desired final look.

Good spot Ian, that was basically how I did mine,same tools and similar process.
The vinyl they used would not offer much protection when off roading as it's quite thin and tears easily Steve
