Black grille and vents - plasti-dip?

Hi all

Wanting to experiment with changing my grille and side vents from silver to black. Would plasti-dip spray do the job and does it look nice when done?

Any tips/advice welcome. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Same here, could just buy a new set from eBay but cheaper to paint mine. Plast dip peels off so thought if it looked crap I could take it off 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Never tried PlastiDip but heard its good

Pleased with the result on my grille with Satin black spray - just get plenty of light coats and keep in regular movement.

 Must stop buying shiny toys....

All fine, great product if you use it right!

Did my whole car a few years ago. Filming something somewhere...

Very Happy I plasti - dipped a 'chrome' grille Embarassed on my old D3 to satin black, worked well and its still looking well after 3yrs Thumbs Up
