Black pack grille

Started the new grille yesterday! Rubbed down and primer on Smile got some black paint to go on the inner bit, that's going on later and then Nara bronze for the outer after that, need to get some first though!

Some deep marks started to show up in the primer so had to use some Stopper on it. Then used the wet and dry technique to smooth it all back out, using a sheet of 320 grit sand paper and lots of warm water slowly rubbing it down. Another coat of primer to go on later them the black will be going on Smile

Good work Mark Thumbs Up

320 paper will show sanding lines in the lacquer finish, make sure you finish with at least 2000 grit on the primer before you put any Nara paint on Thumbs Up

Per opening post, thought you were doing the suround in Nara Bronze - or have you changed your mind?

Personally I could never make up my mind when I had the Landmark.... all black or black and body colour surround Confused
[but stuck with the oem black & body colour]
