I have theBB Curve and it works randomly. Always connects, but it is in the lap of the gods if you get the phone book or last number redial.
Not worked out why - seems completely random to me.

I have the BB Pearl, it always connects - but I can't download the phone book, something to do with the version of the BT unit fitted in the Disco ('06 HSE)

cheers for those....maybe i will stick with a phone and blackberry....at least i`ll get a phonebook up on screen. i took two when my 5 series had the same erratic uploading of the phone book to screen,
i put it down too sheer data amount...ie an ordinary phone may have , what, 200 numbers.....if you have even 5oo contacts on ur outlook each with maybe phone fax and moby...then thats 1500 numbers ??
or am i just being simplistic
should get new BB in a week or so...will test and post

I have a Curve 8900 and it connects no problem and even show's you the dialling history and the phone book. The Annoying part however is that it only displays the phone numbers rather than the name of the caller.
in the age of mobiles who can remember numbers these days! annoying.

Since i changed my BB Pearl to a Curve I haven't been able to connect automatically to the Disco - it keeps asking for the PIN each time then it's fine. The Pearl used to connect automatically once set up.
Incidentally I can't get my wife's iphone to connect - picks up the Disco on the list of devices but just hangs when it tries to connect. Maybe the two problems are related.
Any suggestions?

These bluetooth connections and the different versions of software clearly used by Landrover are all 'd up.
It winds me up.
I have a BB storm and
a) in my D3 I have to manually pair it every time I get in the car and even then I only get call functionality ie no transfer of contacts or call register stuff
b) in my other halfs RRS, (only 2 months younger than my D3), the storm pairs every time automatically but still no contacts etc.
I work in software development and if my company delivered stuff live with such compatability issues with differing versions - we would be shot.
