The one I have is the new stock, so should be the 400HD Mk II, but it has firmware 1.037 which is much earlier than the 1.040 for the older 400HD
How can you tell the difference between the Mk1 and the Mk2? Bodsys Brake Bible

i need to check with Pittasoft
We dont buy in huge numbers so have good churn. and as you can see we go out of stock everytime
But that means we always get the latest version and they only offer V2 on their list to us now
They are bad as with all the other hardware manufacturers of keeping the firmware up to date on the production line.
The new order should be here this week/early next
Sorry its gone out of stock - cant seem to get the new stock control system to want to play ball with back orders
But we will ship all the orders we have as soon as we get them. Thanks all

AFAIK, the Mk2 has a black surround around the lens:

Probably - I know I didn't get MkII; but to be fair to hids4u, he wasn't advertising MkII at the time I bought it, he was showing MkI on his website.
And Slimer had a better link showing the MkII:

Hi Ian,
I would like to order another one for the back of my D4, but they are out of stock at the moment, any idea when you will have some more?
Fitted one at the front and the picture is superb, upgraded the firmware to the latest version and everything working ok.

Hope you guys don't mind. ordered one last night with the power save adapter for when parked up as my car always seems to have another mark or ding on it after the weekly shop.
Can anybody tell me how much the power save adaptor should cost with the discount ? I know I got the discount with the unit but not sure if the adaptor was discounted.
Just need to work out how to wire it up when it arrives D3 HSE gone and missed.
RRS with all the trimmings, Now.

Hi Rudski
Fancy meeting you over here
I wired mine with piggyback fuses http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-MINI-FUSE-AD...35b3f1106b
It was dead easy - will take a pic and post it on RRSport so not to confuse anyone here with a D3/4
The power saver should be £22.79 with discount 8) Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
