OK, new to this forum but have been wanting D3 since I first saw pictures back in 2003!
Finally decided to replace my trusty D2 and collected new HSE this evening... Now I see what you guys have all been raving about! What an experience. I was somewhat apprehensive at parting with my D2 - but now I can see after very few miles why you all seem to hold this vehicle in such high regard.
No good, can't sleep yet - Perhaps once more around the block!
Oh and BTW, this forum has been really useful in getting me to move from 2 to 3!!! Thanks to all!

It doesn't matter where you go - just go anywhere - any excuse. And find some dirt! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Take her out for a run down the A3 or A23 out into the countryside ...give her a bit of room show you what she can do.

Hi Ian, yes I did the same thing, it's truly a remarkable vehicle, sometimes though I wonder about ripping out all that noise insulation so I can hear the engine rattle a bit - just like on the D2 2007 TDV6 HSE 'Silver Lady'. With 'free' privacy glass LOL.
