Thanks for that. I'll have a poke around for the looms and post the result back here later.

Thanks - if you find it let me know and i can share the info i have
All i can think is its packed somewhere in the main loom in the car and isnt passed through the quarter grommet into the void where the sensors go - they certainly arent visible there on the 64/15/65 plate discos - all mine have had it except this one (it pains be every time i get in it). i also didnt want to take the door card off to check the extra wires are in the connectors in the door eg what you plug the mirror intoMike

I am in the process of setting up a rear outlet for my air compressor (separate topic) so have the driver's side cubby completely emptied out including the foam insert to hold the jack in place. In that cubby tied up to the 'main' loom high above the wheel arch I found this unused connector.
Black, red, purple in a 6 pin connector
I've been looking through wiring diagrams trying to work out what it's for but no luck so far. I can't find the blind spot monitoring on any of the wiring diagrams I have unfortunately so can't confirm if this is the right or wrong connector for the blind spot monitoring...
Hopefully someone has access to a better wiring diagram and can check this...

It is the connector for the Webasto remote ECU/receiver (or Altox W-BUS5 ECU)

Correct - its just behind the jack on the driver side rear.
The BSM connector is different and you should find one eitherside, which should be long enough to rear through behind the bumper under the lights as from the wiring diagrams it doesnt seem to have any other connections at the rear until it reaches the front
There are 8 connections on C0407 and he same on C0408
1 power (from engine junction box)
2 link left and right sensor (private can)
1 earth
2 canbus
2 link to the mirrors (system alert and Status)
The door mirror links direct to the mirror and back to the door moduleMike

Just for reference, I have come back to this recently and on my SE spec (in Australia) MY14, the blind spot cables are not in there. Looks like I'll have to replace the complete mirror units with ones that have the loom including the blind spot indicator cables.

I recently had cause to remove my mirror glass and just for info if you are not aware there is extra cables in there to connect to the mirror where it lights up the blindspot symbol.

I have now foraged around quite extensively in the rear on both sides and I can't find these connectors for the blind spot radar sensors / control modules...
My enthusiasm for splicing into the loom/s is pretty low at the moment so I'll ponder a bit longer if I can even be bothered.
If anyone has any tips I'd certainly appreciate them
Thanks,
David

I've been looking into this for my MY14.
The (blindspot monitoring) control modules are:
LR075761 (replaced LR051009) £422
LR051010 £475
Still trying to work mirror parts required and correct part numbers.
Mirror glass LR0351350, LR035351 - £125 and £112 but I haven't quite worked out the variant/extras for the blind spot LED indicator bits
So, yes, quite an expense there...

normally I can see radars on ebay for 40 -75 quid but without brackets, also I have checked and mine MY16 does not seem to have any harness for it under the bumper
