I've got this and I think you'll need the radar bits fitting behind the bumpers too to make it work not to mention associated software maybe even some electronics modules.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

I've been looking into this for my MY14.
The (blindspot monitoring) control modules are:
LR075761 (replaced LR051009) £422
LR051010 £475
Still trying to work mirror parts required and correct part numbers.
Mirror glass LR0351350, LR035351 - £125 and £112 but I haven't quite worked out the variant/extras for the blind spot LED indicator bits
So, yes, quite an expense there...

I recently had cause to remove my mirror glass and just for info if you are not aware there is extra cables in there to connect to the mirror where it lights up the blindspot symbol.2015 D4 HSE LUX Kaikoura Stone(sold)

If you pay me a grand I will happily sit in the back and tell you if anything is coming.

Apologies - I missed this somehow... Better late than never hopefully.
The control modules listed are the radar units - one for each side. i.e. the control module is integrated with the sensor.
Also, another clarification. From what I can see those mirror glass replacements include the integrated led indicator.
I'd still like to do it but the component prices are still a bit much for me.

I posted on this a little while ago
On paper you need:
New mirror housing
new mirror glass
internals for the mirror
2 radar units (one each side)
2 radar unit cover
fixings for the radar unit
However, the wiring is almost certainly - or im almost certain that it, isnt there in the rear. there should be connectors in each corner below the lights - these werent there on my latest acquisition when i fitted the tow electrics.
The system is connected by a low speed canbus - all the other connections seem to be "normal" loom connectors, implying no additional wiring - but i cant find the connectors - they certainly arent immediately obvious - so unless they are tied back in the loom somewhere - the car doesnt have them and its an additional loom (odd for the d4 but exactly what JLR do now).
i have all the wiring and connector diagrams and its a straightforward system - radar unit to mirror glass basically.
In terms of enabling - that was there - but you will need a "good" tool to have the option fitted, im not sure IDD can do it - Autologic had it and LR software will
In terms of parts prices, mirror housing is the most costly and you will need all the inserts to go with it. then radar units between £300 and £500 each - i could get them for £300 new
On a plus if you fit all that, you may as well fit wade sensing
If someone can find the wiring, i know the rest and how to do it!! cost is around £1300 which considering is £750+vat new isnt too bad.
Annoys me every time that all cars since 2014 i spec'd with it, but the disco replacing the defender, as its not new - doesnt have it as it seems people only car about pretty options not actual worthwhile ones Mike
