Bluetooth
Just a quick question.
My dad has just bought a 54 plate disco 3 hse. As far as I can tell the car has Bluetooth fitted (it has the extra buttons on the steering wheel and his phone pairs with it) the problem is is that no matter what I try I keep getting a message come up on the stereo saying no phone connected.
Any ideas?

Just that it sounds like you dad phone pairs with his car, but you can't pair with yours, just how I read it Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I see what you mean. No it's the same car, if you look on his phone it says that it's paired to "Land Rover aud" but when you try to make a call his display in the car show no phone

54 plate never came with factory Bluetooth .. only aftermarket kit
That shows up as ford audio when you search for it .. it also pairs with 0000
Also when you press the phone button on the radio it will not acknowledge that there is a phone connected
All this would make make sense .. but you say he pairs with 2121 !!G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Well I think he said it was paired with 2121 I'll double check first as you know what parents are like with technology
I'm also trying to get him to join here

Just a quick update the car will connect to ios devices but not android. So we are no further forward unless he changes his phone from a Samsung to an iPhone
