Bluetooth

I started to read through previous posts but I can’t find the advice I want.

Got a D3 SE 2007. No factory Bluetooth. Bought a D3 module off eBay opened up o/s/r panel (rhd) but can’t see a plug coming off the wiring harness to fit into the module.

I’d be very grateful for any advice.

no wiring is present.

bEST off returning it if you can.
Purchase a D4 bluetooth module. These just require 2 wires connecting and a MOST optical connection.
You can get MOST splitters off ebay/amazon

I assume you have a 6 CD unit up front? I think these are required for it to work.

If you don't have a voice button on the steering wheel, I expect you need a Mic too

That depends on what head unit he has, base system doesn't.

You will also need a gap iid to enable.

You maybe better off with an aftermarket solution
