Bluetooth - Store Name

I have a 05 HSE with what I believe is the LR aftermarket Bluetooth kit not the PTI version. The bluetooth works great with my wifes Samsung phone and my blackberry but does not allow us to store any names. With the aftermaket kit the voice activation is operated by the 'green' phone button' on the right hand side of the steering wheel (as opposed the the PTI kit which is operated by the voice activation button on the left) I can dial a number fine with the command "DIAL NUMBER" but when I say the command "STORE NAME" all I get is the response "STORE NAME" and then nothing, no beep, no command, zilch - like the system has hung.

Anyone else seen this issue?

Yes...
IIRC you are asked to store the name, you should tell it the name.
Then it will ask for the number to be stored and you call that out (one number at a time).
