Body side moulding attachement
Does anyone know how the body side mouldings are attached? Also, are they effective at combatting 'door opening' dings?Zambezi Silver SE / Ebony Leather

Sort of Blue Peter attachment and yes (as long as you don't leave the suspension at access height when parked)

Good grief - and do they stay on? Maybe I should be more observant when driving around and see if I can't pick up a set....Zambezi Silver SE / Ebony Leather

if you mean the black PLASTIC at the bottom of the door?
Then it's poorly fitted with clip-ons.
Once completly removed, 9/10 they stay loose
Mine got of by closing the door when I was stuk in the sand.
I'm thinking of replacing it with black checkerplatesIn a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
It's the rubbing strip that goes about a third of the way up the door.
The clips that hold the bottom bits of trim on the doors (and other bits of trim on) are available from dealers for about 40p.The End
