Bonnet lettering delete?

I saw a new FFRR at a dealers recently with no R A N G E R O V E R lettering on the bonnet.

It looked pretty good to me. Is badge delete a factory option?

I suppose that it's easily done at any time with a bit of heat from a hair dryer (if necessary) and some dental floss to 'saw' away at the adhesive that holds the lettering on followed up with a bit of WD40 or similar to get rid of any residual and then a quick polish for that slightly stealthy look!

Hello

I took my "VOGUE" logo off on a hot day with a hair dryer in a couple of minutes, no marks at all.(Bonatti grey L322)

Then took all the logos off my D3, used same technique, though if has left a very slight "ghost" mark ("sun tan marks" if you see what i mean) since the disco has a lighter color (Maya Gold).

Very easy indeed, letter can be reused. I did mark all dimension and spot on a spare D3 grill should i want to fit them again (they now are peinted in the same grey are my other bits fitted to the D3 Whistle )

Looks good! Re the "ghosting", your car must have been exposed to 'too much' sunshine down in Biarritz! Smile
