Bonnet switch

Can anyone tell me where the bonnet switch may be please. Alarm is activating on occasions and spotted bonnet open message on display.

There are two catches one on front left corner and one on right. From memory it is on the front right one or drivers side but easy to see which has wires coming off it.

Thanks - found it and bridged it out. Thumbs Up

Feels like the spring steel lever has lost its ability to press the micro switch down so back to the dealers for that.

They can also fix the top end oil leak which I have now noticed they didn't manage to achieve 4 weeks ago, despite the extended warranty being charged for it Banging Head

Yeah its the one on drivers side just pull the plug out untill you get a new one it stops it going off , all tho bonnet open on dash will stay on even tho its closed .
Did mine last week , ordered new one off ebay £12 refitted it and sorted .

ps there is a link on youtube of someone doing one very easy tho .

Usually resolved with a good squirt of WD40 or similar and a bit of a clean.

If it really is beyond all hope the connector can be shorted and taped-up whilst you await a new one. Photo of the connector shorted for diagnostics, but you get the idea:

And where is the device located which tells the bonnet switch to go faulty at 4am and not the more sociable time of 4pm Big Cry
