I would have said 'Powerful', but I just checked the website and they don't seem to have any bonnet lettering for some reason.Richard

You don't really!
I replaced my 'discovery' lettering with 'land rover' to distance away from all the current jelly-mould shapes....... and the course LR are taking with its model range
I got mine from Masai 4x4, but like many previous suppliers, they no longer seem to have them listed !
A point worth noting on lettering - the cheap Chinese ones don't have the feathered edges of the proper ones...... and the top coating comes off quite quickly [in my experience]....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Quite so,...perhaps this is an opportunity to be a bit more imaginative - there is an old Range Rover near here, where they removed a few letters and borrowed the "H" from "HSE" so that the bonnet now reads "Hang over"! Previously:
2010 FL2 TD4e GS
‘93 Defender 110 200TDi CSW - still got this, non-runner on SORN.
‘87 Defender 90 4 cyl Petrol
‘83 110 CSW V8 - best ever!
Range Rover 2-door V8 (not sure of year - 4-speed box and vacuum diff switch)
Series III SWB Diesel

I was recently looking and found the following brunel grey (the colour of the original lettering) bonnet lettering.
Land lettering £13.52
https://mglrparts.co.uk/products/dab500050...runel-grey
Rover lettering £13.52
https://mglrparts.co.uk/products/dab500080...runel-grey
I would have thought that the part number should have ended with LPO rather than LQV which would need to be checked with the supplier before ordering (LQV is perhaps the paint code for Brunel Grey when it is used as a base coat before a lacquer is applied).
Shipping was £12.99 (which in my opinion is steep for what they are sending out - but it will be standard charge)
Total £48.03
The seller is based at 3 Kingsbury Crescent Staines-Upon-Thames TW18 3BA
They also do chrome and grey lettering.
The other approach I was considering was to paint (using a spray can) the existing lettering, the paint codes are as follows:
Brunel Grey Matt Finish paint code LPO
Brunel Grey Chrome Finish paint code LBO
With this approach before taking the letters off (I have used fishing line in the past to do this) make a template, so you know where to put them back on. To put them back on I was considering using a 3M double sided foam automotive tape. With appropriate masking it might be possible to even paint them on the bonnet.

I would have thought that anybody selling from a home address is likely to just be re-selling cheap 'Chinese import' stuff in reality, same with much stuff on eBay now. Pays to check out the Chinese websites direct as often the re-sellers even use their stock photo's!
Cut out the middleman and go direct, they are usually cheap enough to not be a huge risk and even if you changed them annually or whatever, got to be a better bet than over a hundred quid for 'some letters' from some sources quoted here?
Bought quite a few things in my last job from Ali Express, mixed results, nothing ever absolute cr@p but 'could be better' was the worst of it but then you factored in "but for the price....". Shipping was fuss free and quick generally.
Wouldn't use them for 'critical parts' but things like these letters and such like I would try them.
