Spot on all those posters.
[start of rant] As a retired teacher of amongst other things, desktop publishing, I am constantly appalled by the apparent lowered standards in the written word.
It is all too easy to blame predictive text but the operator still has to press the Send button and surely has time to read over the words about to be projected onto the electronic storage platform for everyone to read (and comment upon).
Whilst there are lots of examples, one of my least favourites is the use of medium strip, even by national broadcaster newsreaders. Of course, median strip is the intended word.
We are (well the hastily written word could be described as) going to rack and ruin (which probably should be wrack and ruin) but I must make myself content with the knowledge that the English language is an evolving beast. [rant over]LeighW

* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

The importance of proper grammar:
I helped my uncle jack off a horse versus I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse.

"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"
