Brake Disc question
Ive just fitted anouther set of discs to my D4, the front have been on for about 14 months and 14k they have 0.7mm wear but have cracked, I wouldnt have replaced them with that amount of wear but as the are cracked I thought I better, is cracking unusual for the small amount of wear ? Whats the recomended amount of wear before replacing them ?
Thanks for any input

30mm new, LR recommend change at 27mm minute surface cracks are acceptable, deep cracks are not. The specifications are usually stamped on the circumference edge.
What brand are they?It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

yeah very small nearly hairline cracks but do make a noise under extreme braking, Apec discs and pads, never had this before, I'll have a word with them as they give two years guarantee with them
