Hi
I have a issue with my 2010 d4 , the brake lights are staying on , i have changed the brake switch , no change , pulled fuse 14 lights stay on , checked all the bulbs all ok , so can only assume they are getting a live feed from somewhere , any ideas ? As to wear to start to look

what happens if you remove the brake switch from the bracket but still keep the plug connected to it please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

Don't think there's a relay like that on a D4 though, the 2010 diagrams I have got show there are 3x brake light wires direct from the CJB/BCM - left, right and high level. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Issue solved
It was the brake switch which was at fault as we discovered the engine would start without pressing the brake pedal but we had to do a dead battery reset to get the brake lights to go out and reset the new switch once that was done all was ok.
Thanks to all your inputs good old battery reset saved the day ya gotta love a landrover
