brakes
just been changing pads and discs on the old v8 and i have a couple of question and i thought some of you guys out ther could help
1:have used feredo pads and discs all round due to cheaper price than landrover and they are a good make but when removing pads noticed that they were also feredo has full lr service history including pads.do feredo make these pads for lr to resale as landrover parts!
2:have followed guide for doing back disc ie 8 clicks etc but do i need to do the bedding bit [not new epb shoes just cleaned and resused]
and finally on guide sayes you need 15mm spanner to do bolts for the pad carrier but mine has 21mm bolts i know that the v8 has sightly bigger brakes but are they alot more beefed up size/weight than the tdv6
hope someone can help me out ther espically with number 2 thanksif it aint broke dont fix it

I think my new pads (genuine LR) were Ferodo . I wouldn't bother with the bedding in procedure unless the shoes were new TBH, can't see the point in scurfing off material for a handbrake, as long as it works/holds the car when you've finished, and the shoes don't rub. Dunno about the bigger sized carrier bolts though
