Breakdown cover advice

Just realised we are off to the lakes tomorrow and don't have the tintent covered for breakdown, car is covered through my current account.


Anyone got any recommendations on who to use and levels of cover? Any tricks of the trade etc.,? Any realisation certain levels of cover not really needed etc.,?

I'm a member of the caravan club and they do some cover MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Mayday (Green Flag) via the Caravan Club. They will recover your van if not connected to the car, and will take the van to your holiday destination if the car can't be fixed at the roadside, and return the van home if your car can't be fixed in time.
If your car is already covered you probably won't need Home Start, so cost will be £66. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand
