Brembo 4 pots and 18" wheels.

Simple question....but can I find a reliable answer!!!!?

I have done the Range Rover Sport 4.2 SC Brembo conversion to my D3.

I now wish to fit Terrafirma 18" steel wheels.

Has anyone actually done this? I appreciate removal of the harmonic dampers and use of spacers may be required.

There's lots of speculation out there, so experienced answers only please!

PS. Terrafirma can't give me a reliable answer!

If my memory is still functioning 19" wheels is the smallest size wheel you can use with 4 pot Brembo's, I have 19" and 4 pots on my car and its very very close fit.

Flack Thumbs Up

My18” Compomotive are ok, so steel wheels might be being thinner than aluminium.
 Mantec sump guard.
Prospeed tree slider/steps.
Flack duel battery system.
18"Compomotive/AT3 tyres
Brembo 4pot front brakes

What size disc does the 4 pot use? I've got a set I bought for my D3, but I'm now thinking of fitting them on the D4 so wondered if I'd need different discs.
Cheers

Standard d4 discs just take off the carrier and bolt them on . Make sure you have the bleed nips at the top.
You might have to turn the weights 90o just undo the bolt and move them round
Stopping is amazing

Interesting ! It's really that simple ? Do you need different length hoses, wear sensor, anything like that ?

The hoses are the same the wear sensor is different but easy to change just follow the wire and unplug it and put in the rrs one.
The plus point is changing the pads now takes about 15 min as its pins out push back pads out pads in pins n clip in done.
And no more sticking sliders or brakes staying on.
Top tip if searching on the 3bay only search for the part numbers don't mention brembo unless you want to spend £400.
There are 2 part numbers for each side one for black and one is for red.

Thanks. I have a set or at least thought I did, turns out I have 1 L322 and 1 L320, so I just need to buy 1 and check which one first! Is it worth getting the service kit or are they generally reliable?

Just for anyone that searches, the Brembo 4 pot will fit with the TF 18" wheels, if you have spacers mine are 30mm I don't know if smaller ones would work or not.

Only thing you will need is the new wear sensor… Cool

It was your advert that reminded me I had a set! It's looking like I'll only need the sensor as I've hopefully sorted the other caliper 🤞
