Last Friday I was travelling into town and had warning lights flashing saying "Low Coolant" level and the transmission and engine shut down. On checking I found coolant streaming out under the vehicle. I called LR Assist and ended up having the vehicle towed to the local dealer.
I was very skeptical as to why this occurred as I recently had the coolant bottle etc replaced for low coolant warnings.
The problem/fault was identified as "Found coolant pipe on RH lower side of engine had rubbed on RH front driveshaft and worn hole in pipe" It appears that the pipe was not correctly aligned during manufacture........
The dealer stated that this is the first pipe that they have had to replace..........
May be worthwhile checking. Retired Bob

or the dealer moved pipe when they changed the coolant reservoir? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
