BROKEN DISCOVERY
All going so well until Sunday!
Been at company ball Saturday night in London, heading home on the M4 and DING DING, suspension fault max speed 30mph! Great 200 miles from home.
To cut a long story short disco ends up on a transporter home to Devon, I end up in a NISSAN MICRA! AUTO!, thanks landrover! i was on route for business meeting in Poole today.
Awful weather, wet and windy one night you really want your car! so have had to endure a total of 300 miles in the Micra today what a nightmare!
Now know how other people feel, cant exactly say that it fills you with confidence.
Land rover assistance very helpful, but still no word from my dealership on the progress! Anyway thought would add my name to the breakdown list.

I would have insisted when I made the call to LRA that they bring something decent as a replacement car - I would have refused to accept a Nissan Micra for crying out load - thats just taking the p***!!!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

they offered us the same, when ours broke down, we wouldn'e accept it.
we had to pay for a hire car, Toyota 7 seat thing and claim it back.

Just picked the car up from the dealership, all appears to be ok. However I get into the car and the driver seat and door pannel covered in black marks! Obviously from the recovery guy! I was fuming
They 'valeted' it Well thats what they call it, still marks on the seat, have to do it myself this afternoon! Makes me mad that the car is not as i left it!
Land rover service manager did apologise for the Micra and assured me that next time i would have a Disco, hopefully there wont be a next time. But a car that breaks down is never the same in my eyes.
