From Build Date to Dealer
I realise that it's bound to be variable but if it's any help to those waiting for their MY12 D4, mine was built on 13 September and arrived at the dealer on 27th.

Built on 19th September, arrived at dealers on 28th, with me tomorrow!!!
Built 2nd sept, still waiting and getting really really really hacked off
Not a word from Land Rover, the least they could do is pick up the phone but they seem so far up their own rectums they don't care.
I am sure with Martins help they could track me down to explain but somehow I doubt they will

Really can't get my head round that one Dougie. Mine was delivered on Friday afternoon (70 miles from dealer to me) it had been valeted superbly including supaguard protection at no cost.
I would suggest speaking to the MD of the dealer and/or the head honcho at LR customer services and raise the roof!
It all comes down weather there's a problem with the car at the factory or its been damamged when being delivered to the the stealer.

Not sure about that one. if there was a problem at the factory, then they would have either sorted it or built another one. If it was damaged at the dealer then they would either have refused to accept it from the transporter, or have had it fixed if it was (for instance) light bodywork damage.
Very strange, and I would have been very unhappy (to put it mildly) if it had been me in this position.

Softuk - vehicle has never made it to the dealers yet but will allegedly be delivered by 11.00am tomorrow according to someone in transport Dealer has also said they will turn it around in 24 hours
Mr.T dealer is based in Kelso and recently changed to the LLoyd group
I believe the dealers hands are tied as they have just been fed a load of Bull from Landrover, they have been very accommodating whilst i have been having various hissy fits and supplied me with a new D4 which I have put quite a few miles on through various ploughed fields,
Will take me a day to clean it as I dont approve of sending a vehicle back dirty, I have morals unlike some
Do you still get to fill in a new vehicle survey, that could be interesting!!!!!!!
PS a courtesy call from landrover would have been nice
