Just got the new D4 XS and very happy with it. Only thing I want to change is the Full beam H7 bulb as it is very yellow compared to the Xenon headlights. Anyone changed theirs and if so what with?2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

I popped in a pair of the Osram Night Breaker but there are others:
(I think the main beams are H8 fitting but if not, it was the equivalent.)
Again, they do improve things quite a bit but still are not a perfect match

I upgraded mine when one went as was not impressed with the pathetic lighting.
I used this one from Halfords
Halfords Extreme Brilliance (HBU477EB) H7 Car Bulb x 1
Cat. code: 915157-0
The Halfords Extreme Brilliance (HBU477EB) H7 Car Bulb is up to 90% brighter than a standard headlight bulb.
They were on offer and reduced from £25 to £17 - and still are
They have a bit of a blue haze at the top of the beam but you get used to it. Not quite as good as Xenon's but a lot better light.
I was told they didnt last too long by another member but I have had them in for 3-4 months and still good.D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

Should have said.........did take the 1st one that blew, back to Halfords & they replaced it.
After the 2nd one went thought it must be the car, but all seems OK now.

Interesting on the life of the Halfords ones. The Osram Nightbreakers are also +90%. At £28 for a PAIR that's still a fair bit cheaper than Halfords (£17 Each).
Had then for over a year (2 winters) and still working fine. Which guarantees one will go in the next week...
