Butterfingers!
Hello folks! New member here hoping for some guidance, please. Hope I've posted this in the correct place.
I've clumsily dropped the little case with my AirPods in (yes, first world problems) down the side of my driver's seat. It's fallen down and lodged at the back of the seat runner in what feels like a little depression and I cannot get my fingers (or any other tools) anywhere close enough to grip it and remove it!
I'm hoping there's a way to remove the plastic shroud around the end of the seat runner and expose the cavity so I can grab it?
Photos show the rear left hand runner of the driver's seat.
Green arrow shows the cover I think I'd like to remove.
Red blob is approximate position in which the case has come to rest deep within.
Alternatively any other advice gratefully received!

Yep, seat right forward and pull up from front nearest centre console. Just tried it on mine
Just re-looking are they at the side of the seat rail as per top right of the pics? I have dropped a few things down the side, as i expect a few have and you do have to look very carefully from the rear to see/find them.....

When I took mine off they required an almighty amount or force to get off far far beyond what I thought would break them.

That's very helpful, ta. I had a go tonight and actually decided that mine must be different and so I chickened out for fear of breaking them.
I'll have another go in the morning and see if I can find my pry tools to help.
Thanks to all who replied so far - it's appreciated!

I have a flexible spring loaded grab that’s about 18 inches long and thinner than a pencil - would something like that work?
Got mine from work but seen on eBay for about £10 - great bit of kit.Now Golf GTI PP, 7 speed DSG.

Looks like an airpod corner?
Unfortunately not ... it's the corner of some rectangular connector or other. The AirPods case is deep inside the recess in the centre of the back end, roughly where the red roundrect is on my photo. Thanks for the thought, though.

Sorted!
The use of some pry tools and the confidence to keep going when I thought the cover was going to break removed the cover ... it was then a case of using one of the pry tools to poke through the tiny gap at the rear and shove the case forwards until it could be grabbed from under the back of the seat.
Just in case it's helpful here are photos of what the end post looks like with the cover removed, and what the underneath of the cover looks like showing the metal retainer clips.
Big thanks to those who commented.
