Same colour outside but went for black interior. Just more practical for me
I love the way it looks almost black sometimes but this morning in the sun it sparkled
Aintree seems very rare, it took some finding. Oddly enough, I go the Almond as I find it doesn't show the mud and it doesn't show wite dog hairs either! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Nice Nice car Red. Truly beautiful.
Also to add the cars on this site are just too clean.
Amazing that with 9,000 to 12,000 GPB one can buy a Discovery 3.
In my country, with that kind of money, you buy a second hand Toyota Fielder, Mark X, Subaru Forrester, Merc C200 etc. or an old pick up or Pajero.
Used Discovery 3s start from about 23,000 GBP and upward if buying from a car dealer. (Import from Europe)
Or about 16,000 GBP to 19,000 GBP if already used on Kenyan roads.
Was once offered a used Discovery 4 for 63,000 GBP.
Also not enough knowledgeable mechanics, and those who are lack tools, garages etc and the companies with knowledge and tools charge arms and legs...for the spares and labour. As a result the owners loose hope, the cars die and end up getting dumped at the garages.
Beautiful car Red. I pray you and family enjoy.
Wow, that's a really interesting post you've written there One of the great things about the Internet is being able to talk to people from very different places.
Please don't think my cars are always this clean, there's a lot of wet mud here this time of year. Here's one from last winter to prove it!

I have changed my avatar because of my lovely dogs.
I am old boy 54 yrs old and I am really normal guy really
but... I really crazy if I am thinking about daily things....
To many issues, problems .. it is simply life.
But I am trying to resolve it and have a fun with simple things like family, (very short) private life, parents (very old), our daughter (so mature ), dogs. I am nothing special. Like others. I want to enjoy real life.
Sorry for a real emotions.

Is the back de-badged too?
Considering this myself.
Yes, that's debadged too I don't have a photo yet, but here's what the last one looked like, if this helps you decide:

Or, later on, with minimal (more traditional) badging:

Thanks - reckon I'll be de-badging the front, not sure about the back.....

Hi John
Really do love that green, does it sparkle in the sun. The vipers really suit that colour also. Enjoy.

Thanks Paul.
Yes, the green really comes to life in the sun and sparkles with all sorts of colours
I didn't know that those wheels were called Vipers until you mentioned it! They're proving really easy to wash, but they don't conceal any problems with the paint on the centre of the rear discs - looks like it's time for some black Hammerite on those 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
