Things are getting muddled here
I was told that the A/C is designed to drop the temp in the lr3 by 10 /14 degrees if my car says it is 34 degrees outside that would mean the A/C
would only drop the temp to 20 degrees
is this correct?

Relaxed ...

Can you confirm the following:

The engine is on?

The 2 dials showing temp required are turned anti-clockwise as far as they will go?

The circular button with 'auto' on it has two little lights showing one above the other.?

There are no lights on the buttons below?

No - it will strive to bring the temp down to what you have requested on the 2 dials.

Sorry if this has been covered ,i did search but found nothing relevent.
I do not drive my lr3 unless we are going away, my wife uses it for work.
however yesterday i had to use it and found the A/C was only just about blowing cool, even with the air recycling ,i spoke to my dealer he said he would be very happy to check it but it is ment to drop the temp between
10/14 degrees.
the car read 34 so i could only expect 20,is this correct, and has anyone else
had any problems ?

Relaxed - it will def go lower than 20 C even in 34 C weather. I've got mine set on lowest temp and blowing from the face vents, and I've had to take my hands of the steering wheel to blow on them to warm them up!!

Any you're sure it's not on economy mode?

Turn both temperature dials right down, jab the Auto button a couple of times and leave it alone for a while

That was what I was wondering about, what has the audio to do with the AC or was this a LR quirk not in the manual?

The 34oC you can see on the display in the dash is the outside temperature. That won't change no matter what you do to the A\C.

If you think that the air being blown is nowhere near cold enough then ask your dealer to arrange for you to have the 'enhancement'...this should give you the most up to date software for the HEVAC system.
