Thanks Robbie.

This is the measurement I took beforehand, and the spreadsheet I made.

Any chance you could put the actual spreadsheet in your gallery for other to copy and use?

Dealer would charge... too much Whistle

The individual corner calibration procedure will be redone completely in the weeks to come. It will be simplified significantly.

Generally, a diagnostic charge, or an hours labour for a calibration, assuming it calibrates OK first time.

I remember spending more time than I care to remember calibrating D3's/RRS's with IDS. Everything must be accurate to what the computer expects, to a tolerance of 3mm or so, per corner...

Patrick, I fail to see how you can make it easier to adjust corner heights. Its only a few button presses as it is Laughing

How much do they charge per hours in the UK?

And yes, it is possible to improved Mike Smile

Ieuan, if you need to do this calibration (sensor removed or replaced), I can give you a hand with the numbers, no worries

I've uploaded the 2 spreadsheets into my gallery, 1 Mac, 1 Excel. I'd tried earlier, but the gallery upload didn't want to accept an .xls file, so I just zipped them up and they were accepted.

I don't see how it could be much easier either, unless you just feed in the measurement, and then everything gets sorted out for you. But that takes all the fun out of it. And the feeling you accomplished something Smile

One thing I did though that made it easier for me, is that I went off the top of the centre cap, I found that it was easier to get consistent measurements from there, rather than guessing where the actual centre was. The cap is 56mm wide, so I just added 28mm to my measurements.

Actually, the hardest part for me was finding a reasonably flat piece of land to take measurements, everywhere that's convenient for me has some sort of slope or irregularity, so, I went off to the nearest Tim Hortons parking lot and measured there. With onlookers.

Folks at Tim Horton must have looked at you strangely while drinking their coffee. Question

Measuring from the center of the rim, to the top of the center cap or anywhere else does not matter. As long as it's repeated for all 4 wheels.

Hello.

I'll change upper rear wishbone soon should I do before or after calibration?
Certainly before 4 wheel alignment?

I have tweaked the fine work of ubp_sanity so that the spreadsheet can be downloaded without a ZIP:
