2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Bonatti Grey

Cambelt or chain ?

Hi Guys,

This is my first message on the site and I need some help. I am thinking of buying a D3 HSE with 75000 miles on the clock. It's an 06 model. very nice motor with service history, but.... do they have a cambelt or a chain ? and what intervals should they be changed. any info would be very helpful.

Both, Timing Belt and a Secondary Drive timing chain, Due for a change at 105,000 miles

the 105K service is a biggy, cost about Â£800 I think, but you dont need to worry about it for a while

I need help in justifying spending 19k on a D3

06 HSE with history, very nice. drives lovely.

What do I do ?

the D3 is the only car ive had for more than 2 years. Ive had it over 4 years now. It was so good I also bought a D4.

It has 75k on the clock, normally I would walk away from a regular car with this mileage, do you think this is a fair price for the year - mileage ? Thought as much !!
