doesn't your head fall down the gap behind the front seat?! or did you fill it with something?

I put my bag down the gap then pillows on top of it worked fine!

did you buy yours with the side panels mate ?

Actually it was a couple of my mates that shared the cost a few years ago but stored in my garage and tends to be fitted to my disco's when used at wet events.

It was virually new and was bought as you see it.

we spent a week camping in germany the back of a D4 .... not a D3 I know but ...

used a porch awning as a shelter on the back and then on the side of the vehicle ,
the bed size of the folded seats gave a good double bed in the back..

funny question but when staying on campsites what did they charge you for ? a tent or a Campervan ?

in germany they charged us as a camper as that is what we called it and we slept in the vehicle ...
if you get the free app ‘stellplatz’ it points to all the free/cheap camper sites all over europe !
worked really well for us!

When I camped in mine at Silverstone recently I only just fitted in diagonally!

is a roof tent bonkers money?
do they fix to a roof rack, or into the roof rail system?

This was my first RT and it cost me £500 from a member on here. I mounted it to a set of roof bars at the start but bought a rack where i now mount my new (to me ) one Thumbs Up I have the best nights sleep in a roof tent (Especially now I have bought a Propex heater)
This is my second one which cost a bit more (£950) But I have to say worth every penny. Just remember to take your overnight wee bottle out before you fold it up ! It saves embarrassment Embarassed

By the way thats not it leaking out I had just washed the awning Thumbs Up It happened whilst doing the N500 last month Big Cry
