Camping location suggestions!
I'm after some suggestions of campsites that are like wild camping but aren't proper wild camping!
The thought of waking up in a line of families on a campsite isn't for us, some would say we're anti social an I'd agree! The missus would ideally like a toilet to use but we'd like to be able to pitch in private without too many neighbours!
Do such places exist within a reasonable distance from me?

Not a reasonable distance from you, but well worth the considerable effort to get there, is Kintra farm on the Isle of Islay. A beach, A field, A tap, A view and sunsets to die for, A toilet block and shower in the farm yard.
Doesn't get much better. Especially if you like whisky!

Stayed here last October. You can rock up with your own tent or, for a few quid more, use there tents that are pitched and ready to go when you arrive.
Great place.
Edit: Not only do you get a tent on your pitch, but they come with this setup too:

Thanks all for your suggestions..........excluding Andy!!
I found this place as well while searching around which looks to fit the bill
When I know the missus actually likes camping (which I'm sure she will) we'll venture further afield!

Ashbourne woods in Rattery fits the bill..
Small Cleared pitches in a forest. Either semi wild (has a tap and is close to the facilities) or wild (no tap and further away)
We stayed there with the wife's sister and kids, who loved it. Also a very nice pub about a mile and half walk down a lane.
Fire pits are allowed and encouraged. Wood etc can be bought on site.
