Can anyone in Italy help?
We are in our way back from Milan to Massino Visconti when a v kind scooter driver pointed out we have a flat rear tyre. Awaiting the AA but does anyone know of a garage near Massino/Arona/Meina that might have a Pirelli ATR tyre? No chance of a repair. Tyre is slashed in sidewall.

Hi mate.
I don't know garage in the area but we can try to find the tyre in other way and arrange the shipment where you want.
How many days do you stay in Arona? Tyre size?

Hi Panoramix thank you so much for your message. We are currently still in Milan. The car is in a depo somewhere as they try to find a tyre shop. Went to Land Rover on via petitti but they have no tyres. Now opposite Land Rover having a much needed coffee! Don't have tyre size to hand but think it was 255 55 R19 Pirelli ATR.

Warning: for anyone reading this it turns out the man in the scooter was not kind. They target foreign cars leaving Milan and puncture the tyre. When you stop they take your belongings and or car. Luckily we kept going to a garage. Same is happening in Barcelona.
Love Milan and Italy but not a good end to the holiday!

Sadly that Italy has now been taken over by any sort of criminal arrived from any part of the world.
It was not like that when I was there (Milan is where I was born and grew up)It takes all sorts (to make a world).

Thanks Panoramix I really appreciate it.
Riccardo: sadly this seems the way the world is going at the moment. My wife grew up in Milan and I love Italy so this will not change my view of this wonderful country just that it has spoilt our lovely holiday.
