Can a dodgy ride height sensor cause lowering? |
|
Ok so I had usual front end dropping overnight. Changed front air valve block, new AMK compressor 12 months ago, checked all struts for leaks and no leaks, pipe work air tight etc. so am still intermittently getting either front end or all corners dropping. Other times all ok. Checked ride height sensor voltages on each corner, 3 were at 2.30v but rear right was 1.70v. Could this be the problem with regard to when it tries to self level. Hope this makes sense. ๐

Could be.
This is why you remove fuse. But yours sounds intermittent. Worth trying several nights

Ok so removed fuse and after 48hrs no drooping!!! So it would appear itโs something to do with the self levelling. Any ideas anyone

If you have gap iid you can plot the 4 xorner sensors on a graph.
If you see spikes on one corner, itโs probably that sensor
