Yes there is Gareth, I'm working on either trying to integrate Coppermine into the forum software, or use a similar system to the Web Rover photo galleries.
Time permitting I'll have another go at Coppermine, seems very flexible, and means I don't have to hack my own gallery software apart to get it to work with the message boards!
