Can you really re-program an LR3 to stay in access mode??? |
|
i know a guy who claims he can re-program my LR3 to sit lower in normal driving mode so it looks better with new alloys ive had installed. He also claims that he can lock my LR3 in access mode beyond 25mph whilst still retaining the option of raising it via the switch.
I didnt like the idea of him tinkering with the computer so i declined. Is this possible??

I have seen something at Youtube. You can get some electronisc installed that give you control over the driving height but if you drive in acces mode your drive will be bumpy. Roel

Why have you got a 4x4 if you want a low car ? Part of the D3's positive's are the High Comand driving position

And here us guys in Africa are hell bent on keeping it up.
If your guy can lower it via computer then hopefulley he can keep it locked up, in which case there will be a lot of intresed people here, can you find out about it for us??
Thanks

You can't reprogram the suspension. It sounds like they're talking to you about the Matzker suspension module which will do what you're looking for...
Why not give 10ForCash a call (the Tim Westwood of disco3.co.uk) to pimp your ride....he'll be able to fit this kit for you and also fit some furry dice at a decent price.
I hear that Cobra stripes down the bonnet are also quite the rage in the UK

Now i could have guessed that you would respond to that. Want it up for longer and faster than bp can do.
